It can be really easy to run out of ideas for your videos, and is something we used to experience on a regular basis.
Fortunately for you, this isn’t a problem you need to face!
Google has this amazing tool called Alerts.
Google Alerts lets you add specific terms that are relevant to your industry, and then receive daily or weekly emails summarising the news and trends.
To get this up and running, simply:
- Visit Google Alerts.
- Enter a term relevant to your industry. For example, we use “Video Marketing” as one of our terms.
- Enter your email address and click ‘Create Alert’.
By clicking on ‘More Options’, you can fine-tune the emails Google will send you.
Now when you’re struggling for ideas, all you need to do is give your emails a read, find a topic of interest, and then research it.
This great tool will give you a constant stream of video topic ideas, allowing you to stay on top of trends and keep your customers informed, further setting you up as an industry leader and building trust with your customers.
What terms will you be using in your Google Alerts? Let us know your answers in the comments below.
